We have acted for airlines and aviation service providers relating to matters such as legal and economic regulations, aviation safety and market access with respect to Greek and European Law.
Conducting extensive due diligence at the Civil Aviation Authority to identify airplanes handled by a debtor aviation firm. Securing worldwide injunctive measures ordering the grounding of airplanes across jurisdictions pursuant to an outstanding debt to our Client, a ground services aviation firm.
Aviation Legal Advocacy: Representing Airlines in Compensation Cases, Facilitating Establishments, and Navigating International Operations in Greece
Acting for or against various airlines before civil, commercial and criminal courts for compensation brought against them for long delay, cancellation and denied boarding pursuant to EU Regulation 261/2004 and national laws.
Assisting with the establishment of airlines in Greece, including obtaining of the requisite AOC, operating licence and route licence. We have also advised in relation to the procurement of ground handling services.
Assisting non-EU airlines in respect of their proposed commencement of services to and from Greece, including advising in relation to traffic rights, foreign carrier permit requirements, slots, the establishment of a Greek branch office and immigration issues.
